  1. So glad I discovered your channel – having a blast watching all of your previous videos, and this one's no exception. Lots of fantastic titles on both of your lists! My personal favorite 2-player games are Paris: La Cité de la Lumière, Fox in the Forest Duet, Mandala, and Watergate. Excited to check out Botanik after seeing it pop up on several of your videos. Thanks for all the great content you're producing!

  2. I primarily play with 2 as well, but I haven’t tried any of these! Time to go update my wishlist *sigh*. My favorite 2 player only would probably be Watergate, it’s super well designed and very tense to play

  3. Oops, I just realized I never actually said what my most favorite trick taking game was!

Tournament at Camelot! I'll talk more about it in a future video

  4. What a great video!! We pretty much only play 2 players too. The fox in the forest looks so cute! Team crush her 😂 just kidding!!
All these games sounds great and am looking at getting a few! Thanks so much for this video!

  5. I want Botanik on BGA to play it with you. And can't wait on That Time You Killed Me to release here.

  6. Love both lists. I've never played Paris or botnick and I really want to! Did you start a separate discord server? I might have misunderstood.

  7. As much as you both love Botanik I have to try this out! Love tile laying but I love the interaction between both of you even more!

  8. Great video! You've mentioned Royal Visit a few times now, and I'm super intrigued. Such a good looking game.

  9. Fun video!

Our favorite is The Rival Networks because it's a game of one-upmanship, with only a few mean aspects. It plays quickly and has engaging choices. I recommend you checking it out as it's quite unique.

I think the only other two-player only game we own is 7 Wonders Duel and that is good. We enjoy it, but it's nowhere near a favorite game for either of us.

My husband and I don't like most two-player only games. Most aren't visually accessible for him because they require keeping cards hidden or are tile-laying. Then there are a lot that are head-to-head competition and tearing each other down, which I don't like. So yeah, we typically skip two-player only games.

  10. Yes! I'm always on the lookout for really good two player games too. Surprisingly, I think the only one on your lists that I have played is Fox in the Forest. It is an excellent trick taking game. I'm always on the fence on whether I like it better than Claim or not. Both are good….a solid #5. Then, for me, #4 is Naga Raja, #3 is 7 Wonders Duel, #2 is Jaipur and #1 is Hanamikoji.
Thanks for making the video….and absolutely want to see some family carnage over a playthrough of That Time You Killed Me!!😅

  11. Michelle you kicked my butt at Jekyl vs. Hyde! Lol You’re really good at that game. 😊

  12. Great list. Fun journey I too was not expecting X wing

  13. I think my favorite strictly two player only game is Fox in the Forest! There are a lot of games I will highly prefer at two like Santorini, Unmatched, and Grand Austria Hotel

  14. Botanik is a great game cool to see it in the spotlight we love it

  15. Mandala the 2 qyer card game is a 10 out of 10 you should try it

  16. Billie, I want to see you crush her… and then she beats you with her bowler hat elephants 😛

  17. Great video and great list! I have only played one of those games which is Fox in the Forest! Such a great game! I have purchased Jekyll vs Hyde but haven’t learned or played it yet! I need to get someone to teach me 😉😉😉! I am very interested in Botanik! Can’t wait to play that game! Will have to hunt it down! Thanks again for a great video!

  18. Great video! I love you guys back & forth. My favorite two-player games as of now are Canopy, Onitama, Santorini and That Time You Killed Me.

  19. I have wanted to try, but haven't had the opportunity to, botnik, fox in the forest and Jekyll &Hyde. Oh and Paris also intregues me, but as we recently discovered my son has colour blind issues we tend to pick games that either colour isn't critical or can be dealt with using iconography or such.

The 2player specific game (ok apparently you can play it teams with more copies but ummm no) that I have and play is star realms. Oh and "cribbage the board game"
